Where did my unusually warm November weather go?

It is finally COLD... and I dont plan on leaving my house today. I have spent the morning surfing the net. Yeah I know I am being Lazy. I have to start a paper soon. My kiddos are at school and me and my pooch are sitting on the couch. My husband is expecting me to pick up the house. What???? I can not imagine why? We only have 3 kids that run this house as if its their own.(I would not have it any other way?) would you? I plan on getting on the dreadmill later today. My hubby wants me to go to gym with him tomorrow, so I will get a good workout then and get a smoothie.. Yummy... alrighty all just wanted to throw a few lines out there.. I had not got to post in a few days... Talk with you soon...Laundry is calling my name... Today I have posted a pic of Landon(my youngest) learning to ride his bike, boy was that fun....

Election Day Jitters

I have to admit that today I have been a little nervous. I worry about our country. I believe that everyone has a right to thier own opinion. I have prayed that whoever does win this election, be the right decision for our country. I want our country to completely safe. I want not to worry about being able to provide for my childern, and to be able to continue my education. I'm glad we have the right to vote, but boy I stress on this day. I did vote today before I went to class and I forced my husband out the door(shhh. and I told him how to vote too. HA!)I'm home and awaiting election votes. I hope all had a wonderful day. Missouri was nice and warm today. I had a test tonight in Sociology and tomorrow I must study for Microbiology.. This too shall pass.:) Bryce, is my picture for the day, this is the face he gives when I tell him to show his Amy's face(thats my sister) she is really happy with me for showing him how to do this HA!!! payback!!!!

I love Sunday's

Most Sunday's at my house include being Lazy, kinda, but I usually cook alot of food... Yummy. This Sunday is different because My son Ross is Youth deer hunting and I have not seen him very much since 4am yesterday.:( I realize this is his daddy's time so I let them be. I am cooking today, just chili though I figured it would be a good treat that they could "hook up" on all through the day. Hook up is my 5 year olds new saying for everything to do with fun... This morning he asked me to hook up on some pancakes.. OH MY!! I will cook Chili, enough for 10. so tomorrow I can take it to Erica's Family to freeze. Erica is feeling good, A little tired, but this was expected. please keep her in your prayers. My nephew Bryce was here today for lunch so I included a picture of him and his spaghetti face...I on the other hand had a chicken club sandwich and cottage cheese with strawberries. And I might of had a few pieces of Halloween candy for dessert..Have a fab day enjoy your Sunday...

Here Comes the Sun!!!!!

What a gorgeous day here in Missouri 75 and The sun was shining.. of course I must begin my day taking my daughter to cheerleading practice, then I was off to grocery shop... Oh the joys of being a mama..... Last Night was lots of fun.. My kiddos were getting pretty tired of pictues but I explained to them I had to have some to put on my blog... so they were good little models and let me do my work.. Keep in mind, Rossie hates pics and you can def tell in the ones that his face shows... We even had my nephew Bryce in a few... We went to the homes that we knew and my kiddos came home with FULL bags.. Oh wont that be fun to sneak into... and then run 3 miles to work off 1 little piece.. I have been a little sleepy headed today.. Now thats its 8:00pm I hope I dont wake up now. I am posting some pic of yesterday and today.... Hope everyone has had wonderful weekend so far.... I am going to try and do some much needed laundry before the night is over. Dont forget to set back your clocks... enjoy your extra hour. see ya all tomorrow

Where is my warm weather???

I know I know some of you are happy about cold weather, I am just a little well..... COLD. It kind of gives me the "blues", My youngest stayed home from school today, a bit of a sore throat, promising to be good while I studied for school... I believe his nose grew from that fib. HA!!! I did get to stude quite a bit, which I did need to because I have a test this evening in sociology, I have to admit this has been an adventure. I graduated with 45 students in a very small town, so even going an hour away to college is a major change.:) But, up the upside Im well on my way. Im so proud of my blogging buddies for their hard work.... Keep it up girls... You are doing an awesome job.... Please keep Erica, my best friend in your prayers Friday is first day of Chemo... 1 down 5 more to go. Let the count down begin. My husband opted to get our 2 school childern today so I did not go to the big town of VB.... mmmmm. supper? Maybe Grilled Ham and Cheese with soup and salad.... YUMMY!!!! I will post pics after class of dinner... but Landon and I wanted to share our lunch with you....we had a southwest chicken salad sandwich, and a banana....... well landon thought his looked good as a smile. kids... you gotta love em'

Finally Tuesday is almost over

What a day, My day began at 5:30am, jumped in the shower , got my kids ready for school. I left for school at 7:00 I have an hour drive.After school I drove to pick up the kiddos, came home fixed kids dinner and went back to school and now I am home.... I think my hubby is happy... I know I am. I do not think Im going to get in any exercise... ahhhh. I dont even want to say it... I must get some sociology done.. Tonights dinner had to be quick so I made spaghetti, garlic bread, but I did include chopped up fresh fruit... my kids loved it added bananas and peaches.. Sorry its such a short post... Ill be back tomorrow:) have a fab. evening.

Cold Weather= Warm Comfort Food

Hey to All, Okay today was a busy day... But even though, I had to feed my babies something nutritious... They are pretty healthy eaters and I try to make it as fun as possible... They love the fruit KaBobs, And they even love Salad as long as I have it topped with eggs... for the main entree I made Sloppy Joe Pie and it was good and healthy too..... All Lean meat with onions, 1 pkg sloppy joe seasoning and crushed tomatoe.. mix and put in 9 inch pie plate then top with pkg of cresent rolls... YUMMY YUMMY... email me if you would like more info, Id love to share www.kimhayworth@hotmail.com I forgot to tell you about my snack (club crackers, with parmesan cheese with Garlic and Herbs made with cream cheese) May have been the best snack ever... I know I should of ate an apple :)

AHHHH MONDAYS

Mondays Mondays!!! I mean what can you say, but God has given me another day so Im not going to complain. My kiddos had a hard time getting up this morning, maybe because mama is a pushover and let them stay up an hour later than usual because their Daddy is out of town.:) yep, Im guilty. I cant help it... They are just so cute and those little eyes just light up when I give in... They were off to school today , as I arrived back home I realized I have so much to do HOMEWORK, Yes I will get it done. As my wonderful MicroBiology teacher ask, How bad do you want it? I want it so I guess It must be done. I should clean my house a little to before hubby gets home. He really does like to come home to a clean house.. Clean House ? or blog? thats not fair... alright well I am off to study and clean I will post dinner pics though... mmmmm. not sure what to have. Maybe a big salad, well see. Make the most out of your Monday....I did add some pictures for the Monday Morning... I put up a picture of my great dane puppy Princess Katie, she is still a puppy, just really big.. and a picture of our lake last winter,boy that was a cold cold miserable day, and one of Landon my 5 year old giving everyone a thumbs up....... Off to bed with just a thought

Everyone is thankful for something and sometimes they take things for granted. I just wanted to let everyone know what I am thankful for. I am thankful for the Children God has given me to raise everyday, I am thankful for my hubby who loves me unconditionally, I am thankful for the legs that I have been given to run to my hearts desire. I am thankful for all 3 of my puppy dogs that I just LOVE... (Porter, Princess, and Zipper) I am thankful for my parents who would do anything in the world for me. I am thankful for my one and only sister who has put up with me for 27 years and still thinks I am the worlds best sister ever..., thank you for my nephews Bryce and Gabe... all my sister in laws and brother in laws on my hubbys side....Thank you God for giving me Erica, my best friend who shows me strength and courage. Thank you to my blog buddy for my comment it made my day:) I know I am probably forgetting something but I am thankful, and I could go on forever and ever Im sure.... I going to add some pictures of things I am thankful for although my middle son Ross is not in a pic except earlier post... He runs everytime I get the camera out... Ill have to scan his school picture, no way he can get out of that one. Have a Fab week all

Lunch/Dinner

Alrighty guys and girls I just ate the most wonderful"winter" dish.... well maybe not the best butChili is always good... yummmy my kids wanted fresh pineapple so I cut one open and sliced it, it was so fresh and juicey.. I made the chili, then I thought sweet cornbread sounded good, so I whisked the batter up and put it in the oven and 20 minutes later we were eating away... I have not really been able to cook a bunch since I am busy at school 4 days a week and running kids to baseball and cheerleading but hopefully things will slow down in the winter... I just wanted to post a few pictures of my dinner.. I should of took the pics of the pineapple before I cut into it, but I forgot but.... it still looks good... Hope you all have a fab. dinner...

Sunday Sunday Sunday

Sunday Mornings , The sun has made my day. it is so beautiful today although a little chilly.... Brrrrr... My kiddos and I going to do housework and yardwork.. Lord help us.I need to home work it just never ends and My kiddos, well I dont know how much help they can acually be they try but, for instance I went to the Suburban this morning to start it and the battery was dead, my wonderful 10 year old forgot to shut off the key after she got in the suburban "to listen to music" And my boys well they are boys and they just mess more than they clean. But they are just so loveable with their mama its hard to get on to them:) They will just love me for this picture when they get older..... They are always in to stuff,,,, playing, playing, playing... I guess I should be glad they are not sitting in front of the Television, but sometimes I am tired... okay all, have a faboulous day... I am off to clean...

Its FRIDAY

Hello to everyone, well it is Friday and my kiddos dont have school, and neither do I. We acually slept in this Morning. 8:00 it was so nice. This week has been so busy... I spent Tuesday and Wednesday in St. Louis with Erica and Jack. Erica has test and Surgery. and her test came back wonderful.. No cancer anywhere else. Thank You GOD!!! She had Surgery on Wednesday. Which turned out wonderfully although one turned into two... We left to come home after first one and she started bleeding underneath skin and had to go back into the o r to stop the bleeding. Poor baby.... but we were so overjoyed by the news the day before that this was just a little bump in the road. she is now home and feeling well. I should really get started on a research paper I have due, but its so much fun sitting here and blogging. I will go and try to be a good little student. Everyone take care and have a joyous Friday

Today has been a good day.. I have college class tonight(sociology) its really kind cool, so I wont complain too much. I had a lazy day. Missed my kiddos and laid on the couch alot. I am always thankful for these days although I realize I am not using my time wisely since I have research papers due and all kinds of other reading I could do. I went to Van Buren and met my friend Erica and Her daughter at the river just to be outside and it was nice. Landon my youngest was with me and they played by the river... I guess I will go Just remember when its bad someone always has it worse... God Bless

First Time Blogger

well it is what it is.... I am a good person... Loving my family and going to school full time and being me.. Who would of thought that would be so hard. I have a good family and good friends sometimes Im over whelmed. But Im going to fine. After this semester I wont be so bogged down at school and can spend more time where its more needed. In the last year things have changed for me. I went from spending 60 hours in an office( Including what I took home with me) , to going to college full time to work on my nursing degree. Its a journey, and boy am I learning. It has been a huge adjustment for me and my family. My husband is a wonderful father and usually does not complain, although I know I am changing his life too. My kids are awesome little humans who take it all in stride. I know I wouldnt be able to move on without them. I have a best friend who for sure brings out the best in me. She is so strong, and I always know she is going to have a smile on her face no matter what.. In September of this year she ws diagnosed with Breast Cancer and still a smile everyday. She is strong and confident... So I am too. She will be fine. Just working it everyday and counting down the days that are doing and moving forward. alrighty guys enough for now. Off to work on microbiology... Gotta work for those goals. Wish me luck.
