Where did my unusually warm November weather go?

It is finally COLD... and I dont plan on leaving my house today. I have spent the morning surfing the net. Yeah I know I am being Lazy. I have to start a paper soon. My kiddos are at school and me and my pooch are sitting on the couch. My husband is expecting me to pick up the house. What???? I can not imagine why? We only have 3 kids that run this house as if its their own.(I would not have it any other way?) would you? I plan on getting on the dreadmill later today. My hubby wants me to go to gym with him tomorrow, so I will get a good workout then and get a smoothie.. Yummy... alrighty all just wanted to throw a few lines out there.. I had not got to post in a few days... Talk with you soon...Laundry is calling my name... Today I have posted a pic of Landon(my youngest) learning to ride his bike, boy was that fun....

Election Day Jitters

I have to admit that today I have been a little nervous. I worry about our country. I believe that everyone has a right to thier own opinion. I have prayed that whoever does win this election, be the right decision for our country. I want our country to completely safe. I want not to worry about being able to provide for my childern, and to be able to continue my education. I'm glad we have the right to vote, but boy I stress on this day. I did vote today before I went to class and I forced my husband out the door(shhh. and I told him how to vote too. HA!)I'm home and awaiting election votes. I hope all had a wonderful day. Missouri was nice and warm today. I had a test tonight in Sociology and tomorrow I must study for Microbiology.. This too shall pass.:) Bryce, is my picture for the day, this is the face he gives when I tell him to show his Amy's face(thats my sister) she is really happy with me for showing him how to do this HA!!! payback!!!!

I love Sunday's

Most Sunday's at my house include being Lazy, kinda, but I usually cook alot of food... Yummy. This Sunday is different because My son Ross is Youth deer hunting and I have not seen him very much since 4am yesterday.:( I realize this is his daddy's time so I let them be. I am cooking today, just chili though I figured it would be a good treat that they could "hook up" on all through the day. Hook up is my 5 year olds new saying for everything to do with fun... This morning he asked me to hook up on some pancakes.. OH MY!! I will cook Chili, enough for 10. so tomorrow I can take it to Erica's Family to freeze. Erica is feeling good, A little tired, but this was expected. please keep her in your prayers. My nephew Bryce was here today for lunch so I included a picture of him and his spaghetti face...I on the other hand had a chicken club sandwich and cottage cheese with strawberries. And I might of had a few pieces of Halloween candy for dessert..Have a fab day enjoy your Sunday...

Here Comes the Sun!!!!!

What a gorgeous day here in Missouri 75 and The sun was shining.. of course I must begin my day taking my daughter to cheerleading practice, then I was off to grocery shop... Oh the joys of being a mama..... Last Night was lots of fun.. My kiddos were getting pretty tired of pictues but I explained to them I had to have some to put on my blog... so they were good little models and let me do my work.. Keep in mind, Rossie hates pics and you can def tell in the ones that his face shows... We even had my nephew Bryce in a few... We went to the homes that we knew and my kiddos came home with FULL bags.. Oh wont that be fun to sneak into... and then run 3 miles to work off 1 little piece.. I have been a little sleepy headed today.. Now thats its 8:00pm I hope I dont wake up now. I am posting some pic of yesterday and today.... Hope everyone has had wonderful weekend so far.... I am going to try and do some much needed laundry before the night is over. Dont forget to set back your clocks... enjoy your extra hour. see ya all tomorrow

Where is my warm weather???

I know I know some of you are happy about cold weather, I am just a little well..... COLD. It kind of gives me the "blues", My youngest stayed home from school today, a bit of a sore throat, promising to be good while I studied for school... I believe his nose grew from that fib. HA!!! I did get to stude quite a bit, which I did need to because I have a test this evening in sociology, I have to admit this has been an adventure. I graduated with 45 students in a very small town, so even going an hour away to college is a major change.:) But, up the upside Im well on my way. Im so proud of my blogging buddies for their hard work.... Keep it up girls... You are doing an awesome job.... Please keep Erica, my best friend in your prayers Friday is first day of Chemo... 1 down 5 more to go. Let the count down begin. My husband opted to get our 2 school childern today so I did not go to the big town of VB.... mmmmm. supper? Maybe Grilled Ham and Cheese with soup and salad.... YUMMY!!!! I will post pics after class of dinner... but Landon and I wanted to share our lunch with you....we had a southwest chicken salad sandwich, and a banana....... well landon thought his looked good as a smile. kids... you gotta love em'

Finally Tuesday is almost over

What a day, My day began at 5:30am, jumped in the shower , got my kids ready for school. I left for school at 7:00 I have an hour drive.After school I drove to pick up the kiddos, came home fixed kids dinner and went back to school and now I am home.... I think my hubby is happy... I know I am. I do not think Im going to get in any exercise... ahhhh. I dont even want to say it... I must get some sociology done.. Tonights dinner had to be quick so I made spaghetti, garlic bread, but I did include chopped up fresh fruit... my kids loved it added bananas and peaches.. Sorry its such a short post... Ill be back tomorrow:) have a fab. evening.

Cold Weather= Warm Comfort Food

Hey to All, Okay today was a busy day... But even though, I had to feed my babies something nutritious... They are pretty healthy eaters and I try to make it as fun as possible... They love the fruit KaBobs, And they even love Salad as long as I have it topped with eggs... for the main entree I made Sloppy Joe Pie and it was good and healthy too..... All Lean meat with onions, 1 pkg sloppy joe seasoning and crushed tomatoe.. mix and put in 9 inch pie plate then top with pkg of cresent rolls... YUMMY YUMMY... email me if you would like more info, Id love to share www.kimhayworth@hotmail.com I forgot to tell you about my snack (club crackers, with parmesan cheese with Garlic and Herbs made with cream cheese) May have been the best snack ever... I know I should of ate an apple :)
